When it comes to cheery psychedelia, Brooklyn's own Zula are definitely among the best in the game. And I mean psychedelic in the classic sense - you're gonna shake your ass. These tunes are eniterely groove oriented and the Terepka's sublime vocal harmonies morph and blend together above their discreet jams. They're a band that really shines through their live show and you can catch them at Shea 11/22 with Celestial Shore. In the mean time, Zula's new LP This Hopeful is out now on Inflated Records. -LC
